\nHis life was devoted devoted to art. He created many artworks. Some of them you can buy here.<\/p>\n

Josef Eidenberger traveled extensively during his life. Creating many etchings and oil paintings in the 50s and 60s showing city views and countryside scenes both at home and abroad. Many commissions came from Germany.<\/p>\n

After the death of his father in 1948 Josef Eidenberger continued to live with his mother in the family house. The artist never married but enjoyed the company of charming ladies even in his later years.<\/p>\n

In the late 1960s the vast American market opened up to Josef Eidenberger. Art dealers and customers alike raved about the etchings and images, and Eidenberger became inundated with orders. At the same time, however, commissions from Germany and Austria had to be fulfilled. At an age when most people opt for a more leisurely approach to life, Eidenberger went on ten long trips to the United States, with four or five exhibition openings on the agenda every time.<\/p>\n
